現正值學生申請入美國大學的關鍵時期，訪問期間我校教師與美國學區教師就學生大學申請方面的問題進行了深入地交流與探討。蘭斯克魯斯學區高中學校沒有班主任（無固定的班級建制），學生的思想工作和升學工作主要由專門的指導教師負責，一位老師將近負責三百多名學生，所以大量的升學工作需要由任課教師配合和學生自主完成。據學校介紹，學生的申請文書如果由中介或他人完成，在美國是違規的，被發現後會被大學退回。美國蘭斯克魯斯學區學校有專門的教師指導申請文書的書寫。他們還專門爲我校學生上了一堂別開生面的課。

爲了更好地幫助學生實現學生申請文書和教師推薦信的真實性、針對性、個性化的特點，指導老師要求每位學生首先要先完成一份自我評估，其中涉及多方面的內容，這對教師全面深入地了解學生和學生地自我剖析起到很好的啓示作用，值得學習借鑒。
